I loved that area. I was there on business in August 2005 and visited a number of lighthouse and harbor sites. This was a favorite. I spent several hours there photographing the lighthouse and surrounding harbor places. On my bucket list for a return visit.

Do Maine's most photographed lighthouse any time...preferably when it's above freezing with more restaurants open!

Nice set of photos, I got to photograph the Nubble Lighthouse on an all day photo trip, but if I have a chance to go back to Maine, I would stay in the Portland area and photograph the Portland Light at sunrise and sunset. I got to photograph it during the day but from the photos that I have seen that is the place to be for a sunset shot.

That sounds like a good idea. Angles are quite limited at Nubble. We went to Portland and it was quite cloudy, so LL Bean in Freeport worked out well!

That is a beautiful photo of Nubble, but the horizon needs a little straightening....
