Flash Suggestion for Sony RX1R ii

Hello fellow members -

What do you think about the Godox Tt350s (for Sony) and the X1Ts trigger to be used with the Sony RX1R mark 2 (with a popup viewfinder)? I've used the HVL-F20M but wanted a more quicker response time yet don't want to have to go to a flash that is bigger than the camera. Have you used the Nissin i40? Does it gets in the way of the viewfinder? Thanks!

I have the “Godox” although mine is labeled as “Flashpoint”. Godox is the manufacturer. Adorama sells them as “Flashpoint”. I use mine along with the R2 to Remote trigger the flash. I use mine on a Fuji and like it very much. I will be adding a second one soon. i like the compromise between power and size.

The device on the hot shoe will trigger the flash. I have not tried it for distance. I have used the flash with a swivel adapter to point the flash down for closeup photography. The reason I bought a non-Fuji flash is that the Fuji flash units are 2-3 times as expensive.

Your setup is similar to what I'd like to achieve, only to make sure the trigger does not block the popup viewfinder on the RX1R ii.

I use the Nissin Di700 on my Sony A7RII. works great, bounce flash up/dn, lt/rt. I also have the Nissan Air1 for off-camera strobe. works great.
