Played with a picture of a statue of Neptune taken in London and fish set in the pavement outside a fish and chip shop in Falmouth...

I'm new to this section so uncertain how the comments should go, but first off, this is so cool. Did you use the statue as your base and then overlay the smoke and the fish? Did the light from above come from another overlay or did you simply lighten that area to make sun streaks?

I'm not certain how the comments should go either, so I'll just say I love your work with this, Val!

Thank you very much carlysue. I first put the statue in the incoming tide, the fish were cut out from metal ones set in the front of a fish and chip shop in Falmouth and I put them on next. In SPE I put a smoke filter on and then the one with the rays.. I have had the statue in the sea for a couple of years and did not know what to do with it and when I saw the fish it all fell into place... I used masks on a couple of layers...

Thank you very much Donna So glad you like it. I have had the picture of the statue in the sea for a couple of years and tried different things with it. I have added another one that I did, I thought it was just lacking in something so had another go at it...

Both are impressive, Val. The first is like Neptune is arising out of the depths of the sea; your second is that he's coming to shore. Regarding the "incoming tide", is that an image of the ocean that you also overlayed the statue? Or was it part of the sculpture?( Perhaps I need to visit London...)

Hi carlysue, I am glad you like the second one.. It is the ocean in the second one, I took it when the tide was coming in to get the waves...
