Is that one of those lenses that was a parody on a Stanfield show. When Stanfield's girlfriend saw George's lens, George said "It is the cold water made it shrink to 18mm!!"

I assume you mean Seinfeld, but I'm not sure what's been shrunk. The lens is a 28-300 that I replaced with an 18-400.

That is a fantastic lens. I had one (bought used) and damaged it in a fall, then searched long and hard to find another exactly like it. I finally tried newer versions and wasn't happy with either. After posting my problem here, a member offered one for sale and I grabbed it up. My opinion- you can't do any better.
