Loc: I am from Gaffney, S.C. but live in Utah.
Here in Utah quail have moved into the neighborhoods and I see them running across the street in front of my bus almost every day, especially up on the benches. When they have chicks you can't see their feet move and they seem to float across the ground. They appear to make their homes under bushes, etc in yards. I will have to take my camera along and try to get a shot of some of them.
