At times we look harder when things are not so clear. The vagueness of the bird and the fading focus and color of the flower are a good combination. The composition is excellent with strong lead from lower left almost disappearing upper right.. Keep at trying new thing... but also once you find a good combo like this use it again with different subjects... don't argue with success use it again.

I enjoyed your creativity. I love the softness with just enough clarity in the lower left petals to indicate a flower. Your color palatte goes well with the ethereal feeling of the image.
