Fall Color II

Here are a few shots from last fall's trip to the North Cascades Scenic Loop. The first 3 were shot from a seat in a small Cessna somewhere over The North Cascades National Park; the last two, while on foot. My memory is suffering from a short circuit when it comes to the location of number 4. Number 5 is from a trail along the Wenatchee River.

if no one else will respond, neighbor, then I will.

NICELY DONE!

Also,

having used small planes for the last 50+ years for photography I recommend you talk to the flight company from whom you're renting and explain what you want to do while in the air. the windows in the Cesnas open upward and have a little arm that keeps them from opening too far. I have never been refused the removal of the restraining arm so the window can open fully. (just have to guarantee that If I let the window get damaged I will cover repairs. has never happened) you just have to open slowly until the window gets to the slipstream under the wing and that holds it very steady about 4-6' under the wing.

Presto!

I have been charged 5-10$ a couple of times for the removal and re-attachment of the arm, but no biggie.

Going back through your postings and enjoying your stuff.

Thanks for the comments. To clarify about the plane - We hire the pilot and the plane for tours like this. Even if I knew how to fly, I would not be able to get a license due to physical problems.
