Wife took a shot of Yellowstone's Lamar Buffalo Ranch. Oct-2017
D7100
Thanks, Jerry, Lamar Valley is by far our favorite section of the park. Kathy doesn't like our heavier lenses and was all around quite pleased with this one. I'm the dope with two cameras, one mounted short and the other long.
She got a nice shot there Dave.

Thank you, Jan. She has been teaching me how to do it, but I am a poor student!

Excellent shot.
Thank you, it's is a great place to practice! Too bad it's 2300 miles away.

Nice image. Well done.
Thank you. I had posted several with this lens a couple weeks ago and added this one because many are still interested in this lens.

Thank you, we have to return one more time!
Very nice shot. I have a D7100 and am seriously looking at that lens.

I shot the D7100 for a few years and refused to part with it. My wife would probably let me use it if I asked. The 18-140 was fine for her for a couple years, but wildlife efforts demanded more and the 200-500 and 150-600 were more than she wanted to carry even with her shoulder strap. I use an arca-swiss quick release on my shoulder strap attached to the l-bracket or lens mount, so larger lenses are no big deal to carry or put on a tripod/mono. Just some goofy info!
Beautiful photo. A lesson in composition IMHO!
