A few basketball shots this time.

Here's the results from shooting my second ever basketball game.
My niece is on the red team. I shot these in jpeg large on my d5300
and the 85mm f1.8. Mostly shot from the first row of bleachers
and then the corner of the court. I adjusted and cropped in Lightroom.
Most shout be shot around 1/640th, f1.8, and 1250 iso. I see I could
have used a bit faster shutter speed and froze the ball a little better.
I used single point continuous focus, and shot in a 3 shot burst.

Excellent results for your second game! I for one don't mind a little motion blur in the ball or even hands as long as the subject is otherwise frozen and sharp. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shots. WB looks great. It is really hard to get focus where you want it at 1.8, the depth of field is very narrow. Keep it up. The one thing you need to do is (Shoot,Shoot,Shoot), the best way to get better. Post more as you learn. Thanks

Tom

These are great for your second time shooting this very hard game of basketball. The game is fast and your captures are wonderful. Keep up the good work.
