My apology

Last week I responded to a poster and suggested he purchase two cameras from B & H, give them a test run and return the one that did not suit his needs.
I was criticized for the suggestion. I responded and said there was nothing wrong with the action. I thought about it for a while, contacted Herschel (B & H rep)and posed the question. Herschel was kind enough to respond and offer his opinion. In a very diplomatic tone, he provided sufficient reasons why my suggestion was not fair to B & H. I accepted and agreed with his rationale.

I want to apologize to the two UHhers who essentially said the same as Herschel, however one was with unnecessary sarcasm.
I was wrong and I'll never suggest or use that technique.

Thanks,
Mark

It takes a big and mature person to admit being wrong and then apologize. We could use quite a bit more of that on the national scene. Thanks Mark, have a great day.

All misspeak at times. Your humbleness in admitting your error speaks volumes about your character to me. As far as I am concerned your integrity is intact. Good for you and good shooting to you!

Right! I try to do as much research as possible before I buy. If I'm undecided, I aim higher and go for the better model. Returning things is a nuisance.

Your apology accepted and thank you! Sorry for the sarcasm but I always wanted to buy the refurbished that has been returned because the person who bought it didn't like it. I don't want to buy neither a demo or one that is defective and fixed. But of course I wouldn't know which one is which.
