NFL refuses to sell an advertisement to the AMVETS which simply says "Please stand for the National Anthem". The NFL said that their program is no place for a political advertisement. It is still allowing the players to refuse to stand for the National Anthem during the pregame activities.
It is difficult for me to understand how the players can make a political statement but a veterans organization cannot.
Not necessarily. Who struck that first match. I believe that would be a player. Other players followed. What I don't understand is: the players have the right to express their opinion but the AMVETS are not permitted to express their opinion.

Their rights are not for anywhere, anyplace, or anytime.
