In central Florida is the Lake Apopka wildlife Drive, is a one-way, 11-mile drive meandering through the eastern portion of the property and along the north shore of Lake Apopka. there are birds, alligators, bobcats and more. here a few samples of the wildlife you may see along the drive.

Thank you for posting this really nice selection of the Florida wildlife. If I ever get back to Florida I will make this drive a "must do". Last time I was in your beautiful state was 2005. Our favorite drive was the Fakahatchee strand, and the swamp hike they offered was our all time best memory. ( Where's the bobcat?)

Wow, Robert! Excellent shots and a great assortment. I was there on Friday but the wind was so strong I could barely stand up. I got a few good shots but not nearly the assortment you found!

I was there last August. I enjoyed the drive so much, I drove it twice, taking a little different route the second time. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely go there.

beautiful variety of bird shots, rstrick. love the little flycatcher shot and the green heron in the tree.
