I've been a member for a few weeks and have enjoyed the photos, tips and all-around friendliness everyone seems to exhibit on here...so I thought it was safe to introduce myself :) My name is Sean and I am fairly new to DSLR photography. My wife and I love to get out as often as possible and we bring our camera wherever we go. Nothing fancy here...a Canon T7i and the 18-400 Tamron lens. One of our favourite places to visit is Algonquin Park, where we keep our eyes peeled and camera ready for a chance encounter with some of the area's wildlife. We are strictly hobbyists but learning as we go along...and looking forward to learning more from the many informative and educational posts so many of you have shared. Have a great day!!
Welcome Sean and your wife.
Welcome aboard; The T7i is a good camera and you have a very versatile lens.

Welcome, Algonquin is a great place to take photos. I go up that way quite often. You dont even have to be in the park to find wonderful areas to shoot. Some of the side roads off Hwy 60 around Madawaska can yield some scenic surprises.
Welcome to the HOG Sean.
Enjoy the forum.
Welcome to the Hog Sean, enjoy.
Welcome to the forum.

Happy to see you, Sean! I'm new too and have similar gear--T5i and the Tamron, which I'm trying to make my all around lens.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your posts!
