My First Mandalas...

...or I guess you can call these a kaleidoscope!
On Facebook, there is a twirling community and they progressed now to making these and their's are absolutely beautiful, with so many twists and turns!!

Jim has already created one and I know Val did also, so this is my first attempt!

Hahahaa.... I was perfectly happy not getting sucked into doing these, but Jim was interested in doing them and he posted one, so I figure, let's give it a try... and surprisingly, it was fun!!

Absolutely gorgeous, Angela! Looks like a kaleidoscope to me and I've always been totally mesmerized by those colorful glass pieces falling into beautiful shapes. Well done! Looks like more sessions at the computer youtube tutorials for me. I'm such a slow learner.

I think this is really a kaleidoscope.. but the woman on the video called it a mandalas... it took me quite a few tries to get it right and it's not as hard as it first seems!
