Cape Honey Suckle - accidental focus stacks

In going through old files to delete and make room on the HDD I realized that before I started to try focus stacking I had been using bursts to get one sharp shot when flowers were moving in the breeze or I wasn't real steady with the hand holding.
Well I decided to try using those bursts for focus stacks.
6D, 100 mm macro, 1/200 @ f/8.0, ISO 800 hand held

#1 1st 7 shots of the burst that came the closest to matching
#2 All 20 shots used for a stack
I processed them a bit different as to colors, contrast etc.

really interesting effect from the stacking process. Nice when an after thought actually works out.

Thank you
The one big problem I have is the solid color of the flower makes it hard to get any definition of the petals and shapes without changing things to something that no real ones ever look like. I have a bush that produces big yellow blooms that have the same problem.
