Very good photo-one advantage to using black glass, reflections can produce extra depth- Suspend thyme using off camera supports fishing line for the heavy items from above.

Good suggestion about the fishing line. I'll try it. I actually used a black plastic with a shiny finish. I even ground the edges (but I'm not sure why; they'll never show).
