The Falls

Forgot the name of the falls but they are in the U.P.Mi. I call them Iron falls because of the mineral that is in the water.

Upper Taquamenon falls. Was that shot this year? I was up there in mid October and there was no where near this much color. Nice shot btw.

Not iron oxide but tannins from the cedar trees .

nail binder: Taken north of Newberry MI they are the Tahquamenon Falls I think I spelled it correctly...

DickC: this is mining country, so minerals from the soil etc. give it the rusty color is what I was told...
