mistaken delete

Is there a way to recover files/pics deleted from an sd card? I meant to copy from card to desktop, but accidentally deleted instead of copied. Where do the deletes go? Thanks. Bill

As long as you haven't written to the card, it should be pretty easy with recovery software--some of it freeware.

If it is a Sandisk and you have have not formatted or rewritten, as previously mentioned. You can go to their website or try this website.

I did that yesterday, copying from one external HD to another.
Knew what I had done the moment I saw the image disappear... ugh!
I immediately pressed Ctrl + Z (before doing anything else) and the images were back in about 2 seconds.
Try and see if this works copying from a card to computer as well - but use images that you don't want to keep anyway....
