January in the Bosque del Apache, NM

Every time we visit the Bosque, we never know what to expect. After a fairly ho-hum day for photo ops, the end of the day was rewarding, with the birds returning to hunker down for the evening. Would appreciate feedback on these pix.

The last image is a very dramatic sky. Outstanding in every way.

I like the last image. Your horizon is slanted in the 3rd photo. You will need more reach for birds in flight. A good start, however.

Enjoyed the 1st and 3rd , the second one was a little washed out, maybe adjust apeture. Nice to see, didn't know that cranes flew in a flock that large.

My favorite is the 3rd, love the stroke of the larger birds wings. Beautiful scene/photo.
Of course as already stated, it will be better straightened. Perhaps Photoshopping used to re-add the deleted cut corn/foreground that would be lost in the straightening.

Thanks for the comments, compliments and critiques - all welcome and helpful. I can easily straighten the 3rd photo in Luminar - don't know how I missed that!
