My son found this little guy walking around on top the garbage can outside the house. I would guess it was no longer than 1". What I found amusing was that this mantis didn't even seem phased that we were looking at it so closely. It would turn it's head around and look at us and then turn back and walk across the lid a bit more. It finally jumped down on the ground and scampered into the grass under the bushes.

Great job first one is the best....never knew I would love bugs os much until I got a macro
