I took this picture two years ago and I have no explanation for what it is. I use a Canon SX10 (1/640, ISO 200 and aper 5.7). There was nothing in the field when I took the picture, but this is what I got. I'm a little hesitant to post because I don't want anyone to think that I did anything other than take a picture. This is straight from the camera. I posted on Facebook last year and it got pretty interesting. What do you think it is?
My guess would be that there was something on your sensor like a hair.
.. I was thinking something along that line.. but on the lens.

Looks like a terrible photo with lens flare?
My guess is lens flare also, put a lens shade on your lens

As a person who has witnessed supernatural events, it could be anything. But looks very spirit-like to me! I would buy a ghost-buster machine and stake out that field watching for its' return!
