Step into the wayback machine..
Can't believe that its been almost 35 years.

Yikes, hopefully someone has cleaned up in the intervening decades
I find a lot of appeal in this shot, Dan. A little nostalgia there, with the wallpaper especially. But mostly there's something very comforting about the
normality of it relative to today's insane world.

All clean Linda, just haven't put stuff away yet. The macrame and plants date it for me. Grab a muffin, they're still warm, raisin bran I think, the ones with the sunflower seeds on top have trail mix too. Coffee one side or the other - I forget which.

35 years? Except for the wallpaper and the bread box it looks a lot like our kitchen today, including the muffins.
Does the local Overwaitea still stock Joy?

Wow! The photo makes me feel old, as I too remember those hanging baskets that were once popular.
I was hoping, as it was Sunday, that those were Yorkshire puddings - so disappointed!
Great time capsule though.

Great shot. How cool would a shot of the modern kitchen be framed and hung next to this one on a wall in the kitchen? Unless, of course, you are in a different kitchen these days.

Afraid that was four kitchens ago! I was looking at it in detail to see if we still have anything that is in the picture. The large pot in the sink I think is out in the trailer with the camping stuff but that's it. The same year, my then boss spent big $$ on a professional designer who filled his new dental office with macrame hangers, lipstick plants and ugly vertical blinds with those topographical map swamp thingys on them.
