Loc: I am from Gaffney, S.C. but live in Utah.
In 2016 while serving as a senior missionary couple in Dresden, Germany we discovered this bridge by accident when we were detoured while driving back to Dresden from Freiberg. According to the sign it is called the Old Father's Bridge and was constructed in 1500 I kept my camera in the compartment between the seats so I could photograph anything interesting I happened to come across.

I love old things also especially structures. That bridge looks to be great shape for being over 500 years old.

Yes. Can you imagine the work that went into laying all of these stones? A lot of churches and other structures in this area are made of stones. I always wondered where they found all the stones.

I would have loved to fish in this stream but it wasn't possible. I don't know what kinds of fish would be found. The water was crystal clear....maybe trout?

BigMike, Thanks for the education on that 500 year old bridge. They don't make them like that anymore. Nice image.
