how are you selecting focus and how do you shot (auto, manaul, semi-manual)?
I'm asking because all of these images are lacking in the focus department. The last one is your best, but still not as sharp as one would like to see such a picture.

So you are letting the camera pick the focal point and your settings?
Do yourself a huge, huge, huge favor (one that you will thank me for later, I promise) turn your camera to single point focus. Set the focus point for the time being to the center point and when you are ready to focus, put the red center dot on the eye closest to the camera. You will see an immediate improvment in the quality of your images.
Once you become comfortable with using single point focus, you can move the focus points off the center to any of the dots you see in your view finder and you'll be doing the dance of joy!
after you've become comfortable with that, it's time to move on to learning how to use your camera to the best of it's abilities, get off AUTO!
