Lots of us are being ignored by someone. I'm being ignored by person-not-named; based on comments on his Gallery entries, he is popular, but he "ignored" me after I asked about a PP choice that seemed to contradict his stated goals. I have looked at few of his posts since then. Life goes on without him.

I too am on an ignore list by someone who posts a multitude of Humor posts that are old and we've seen before. He didn't like my defense of American spelling of words which contradicted his British spelling.

Where the ignore option becomes pernicious is when the ignorer is a forum manager. You get banned from an entire forum. One trick is this. The message will be in some forum. In that forum create a new article with an almost equal name. Use the 'cut and paste' feature to repeat that nerds words with admendments. The ignore feature is too broad powered and UHH management might relook the rules.
