If he wasn't trying to make a point the senate could pass a bill bi-partisan, the house could choose to sign on, or not, and they could put it on Trumps desk and he could decide just how badly he wants a shutdown.

I'm pretty passive and don't like a lot of strife, but it's like politics is a knife fight but a few years ago the Republicans started bringing guns. If we stay with the knifes we'll be gone.

They seem to be better at winning, except when they've just tried to govern.

WTF are you talking about, if the Senate passes DACA without compromise on other border security measures by the dems you will see the Senate flipped in 2018 because there would be few republicans or independents for that matter that would come to the polls to support the republicans. Maybe you think that the hold up is about funding, if so you are so misinformed, this whole fight is about border security and the dems are willing to shut down the government over it.

Total bulls**t, the TURDS can go week to week trying to keep the government running or they've had a year to develop GOOD stand-alone policies. BUT PUTOS was too busy trying to keep unsustainable campaign promises that weren't gonna work then and are even worse now.
The senate can v**e with a simple majority but they know they CAN'T get it and it will be filibustered. They need 60 to avoid the filibuster!
Best to work on good bipartisan bills but they know they will have to give up to much. That's NOT the PUTOAN way!
Or they can wait till Nov. when the Dems will probably control both houses and PUTOS becomes an official Lame Duck!!! LoL

It isn't about funding, border security or the country, it's about politics, as you pointed out in the first part of your paragraph.
