First up, the ball is just coming off the bat. If you look, you can see the bat flexing as it rebounds from the hit.

Second is from a few years ago. I am just amazed by the symmetry of this pitcher's form. (Darned good pitcher too)

Third is last fall. The kid has hustle.

Fourth, She was out but the catcher dropped the ball.

I may be wrong, but I think the bent bat is due to a focal plane shutter. I find it hard to believe a bat would bend that much and not fracture.
