The download is very sharp on my small screen but the contrast seems a little low. Was this by design or a product of the lens? The subject matter is delightful, looks to be the same age as one of my favorite subjects.

Does anyone believe you could of got a better shot with the f2.8 lenses. You don't have to spend thousands to get great pictures. Just My Not So Humble Opinion. - dave

It was taken indoors under ambient light. I have to take some with brighter light. All in all pleased with the lens. Yes, my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter is one of my favorite subjects to photograph.

I agree, unless you are going to make a mural from your photo there is very little difference.

Very easy to use as it just takes a very little practice. She is so cute I just couldn't help myself and I had to do a little PP on the photo. I hope you like it. I made the face a little on the light side but you can still see her features as being blond I figured she would be on the light side.....Rich

Part of the problem with viewing photos on a monitor is that they will look different depending on the monitor being used. On my monitor the highlights of your monitor look almost blown out. When I view the photo in PS it looks brighter than when I view it on UHH (same monitor). That said, I do appreciate your time.

I went into PS and did some PP myself; I got rid of the white spec by her eye and desaturrated it (I'm partial to B&W portraits). John.

Yes but to me this looks very flat with no pop. Here is another one in black & white. Let me know if you like this one better since you prefer Black & white. I know the color one is on the bright side but I was trying to add more color to the photo and in so doing I did over brighten it.....Rich

It is better. The lighting was not that great when I took the photo. Here is one I took today of the trunk of a tree in sunlight. I like trunks to test a lens because of the texture. John

On my monitor it looks flat, not sharp and off color. I don't understand why. I again did a little fast PP that took about one minute and to me it looks better. I hope you don't get mad over this but I will post the one I just did. As you will see there is a lot more detail in the one I did which shows that the lens is pretty darn good and the photo has more pop to it and a better color to it.....Rich

Big improvement! I didn't do any PP because I wanted the posting to be exactly what comes from the lens. The color may have been caused by the WB being set for shade. Thanks for your input, John.
