Any advise on good facilities for renting a Canon 100-400 or the new Tamron 100-400? I'm in New Mexico.
Try borrowlenses.com
I just recently used them to rent a 16-80mm Nikkor lens and a Nikon SB910 speed light. Easy to do business with and your credit card is not charged until the item(s) you rent are shipped. Arrived on the day I wanted and just returned in same box with pre-printed label to the UPS store. Someone must be home to sign for the item(s) and instead of bringing to a UPS store you can arrange for the item(s) to be picked up.

Rented from lensrental great company.
A third vote in favor of LensRentals.com. I experienced high quality rental products and great customer service.

I checked out Lens Rental before renting from Borrow Lenses. Lens Rental was a couple of $$$ more than Borrow Lens. When checking with both companies before making my decision I was treated very well by both and both reps I spoke with were very knowledgeable. I would advise deciding on what you want to rent, when you want to rent it and reserve the item well in advance of when you need it. Wait and it might not be available when you want it. Both companies have cancellation policies. Your credit card is not charged until the item ships.

I have only rented once, it was through Lens Giant. Good experience and their price was a little better than B&H and some of the other more popular places.

My only experience renting was summer 2016, from Lensrentals.com and I was very pleased (a77ii and 70-400g2 for a week at Oshkosh). Equipment was well protected in the box and shipping was easy.
