Hey Chris T...use the search feature...
...and quit clogging up the main photography feed with your senseless postings. You’ll find 90-95% of your topics have been covered.
He doesn't want to know so why search? He wants to ask only.
Oh now you did it you just made his ignore list. We should all extend him olive branches and beg for forgiveness...not.
Perhaps if everyone reported his threads, admin might actually reach out to Chris.

I’ve been on his list...twice now.
Here'a newsflash, you have the luxury of not looking at his threads. I didn't make his list because I don't join his little circle something or others.

I've more or less tried that to no avail. It seems protest is either Ignore List or Attic.

The point is, he is the problem and it should be dealt with. Why should we have to change anything on our end just because of him. Trolls should be banned. Especially those that have distinguished themselves with senseless posts every day 278 since Sept 4 and 7400 posts, mostly completely uninformative. If UHH has a reputation for providing helpful information, condoning and enabling this behavior causes one to pause and question that reputation. It is a serious dumbing down of this forum, which is getting me close to being done with it. There are others who quietly have limited their participation. It seems a shame one jerk is allowed to bring down a forum in this fashion. And not participating in his threads is not going to change that. SMH . . .

I understand where you are coming from and maybe Admin will try to improve our quality. It is difficult when misinformation is disseminated and even more so when the perpetrators block discussion.

That's right! He posts a lot of threads so the forum is full of his threads and then he blocks out all posts that don't agree with him so someone new comers would think that the kind of people on the UHH.
Heck, I’d be happy to sacrifice (suspend) my own account for 30 days if it means that Chris was banned, or at the very least suspended from making new threads for 90 days.
As long as there are responces, to whatever thread ChrisT initiates, he will not be subdued.
As of this morning, he is doing fine.

I agree, I don't like ganging up on somebody, and I was one of the first to question Chris and one of the first to be ignored.
We got through that, the olive branch process worked, and so far as I know I am not back on his ignore list.
That said, despite some reasonable interactions, I find it very hard to understand Chris. As some have suggested, perhaps we should show some compassion, but when a single individual is having such a large impact on a community, and does not seem to adapt or moderate their behavior, other responses may be appopriate. Sometimes intervention is required, whoever Chris is, whatever his personal situation, he appears to be damaging to the forum in ways that I haven't seen since joining.
When highly respected contributors start backing away it is time for the administration to step in and do its job for the community and for their own benefit.
As they used to say where I came from, "He that farts in church sits in his own pew!"
This issue has gone far beyond the occasional spats between people, or beyond shunting things into the attic. It could be a 'life changing scenario' for UHH.
The ignore list doesn't ignore. ChrisT has a minor mental issue without a doubt. His questions give him a sense of superiority. The images he posted, located in the gallery, are amateurish at best and appear to have been made on a phone device.
I stayed away for 30 days, at least, hoping he would vanish. Admin is allowing him to ruin a wonderful site.
