Can any of you clever Photoshop users do anything with this photto? I need to delete the white and green part to the right. I have tried (not with Photoshop) but the cat's very fine hair makes it a very difficult task. Now here's a challenge for you! Maybe you can do something with the top left hand corner also.

Thanks in advance

That's very kind of you Mdeman, it's better but I would really like to remove the white on the right hand side also and that' the most difficult part. Maybe it's beyond even Photoshop. She's a pretty cat but those fine hairs are a beast!

Thank you both, great work, my friend will be so pleased when I send it to her. Much appreciated. Did you both use Photoshop?

I used Photoshop 7, my very old but trustworthy editing program :)

I really do need to learn Photoshop but my problem is that the version I have is in Spanish but the book I bought to teach myself is in English and it is such a bore to read the instructions in English and then have to translate so that I can understand what I am trying to do.

I use a very basic programme that came with one of my Canon printers (Arcsoft Photo Editing Software) that is capable of doing something but not of the standard of Photoshop. I posted some example of what it is capable of doing here:

That's not too bad at all. Try Gimp, or even BeFunky; those are free and do some pretty amazing and neat stuff. BeFunky is very user friendly; Gimp has a steep learning curve - - I've never learned it, LOL, I'll just stick to PS7 and Elements :)

The programme I use can crop and tweak also but it's nowhere as complex as PS.

The cat, Smudge, went missing for five weeks and my friend was distraught. She turned up again at a friends house half a mile away, that she had never been to in her life.

I have a better one. My son has two cats he , against my suggestions let go out. He lives around the corner from me. His one cat came up to my house, had to climb a steep hill, cross railroad tracks, walk two blocks in the woods and up the street to my house. I was walking dog and here he came out of the woods. Had never been to my house.
