The performance of this lens amazes me. The double download of this moderately cropped image has proven its ability to be excellent in both resolution and accurate color rendition. I, honestly, wasn't prepared for what this lens was capable of. This image was made from a distance of 37 feet. Sure, it is difficult to use, but its worth the time and effort, and it will make one a better photographer in the long run.

Is that the 600 mm f8 mirror lens with tripod collar? I used to have one until it sustained water damage. Good lens for the money.
