Good morning,

I was wondering if anyone purchased a watermark through "Photologo" and if anyone uses "Photopolish" as a watermark application software?

https://photologo.co/

https://photopolish.co

If so, what are your thoughts? I only use Lightroom and I'm not crazy about its watermark capabilities.

Thanks,

Dan

When I want to watermark a photo I run it through Fastone Image Resizer, resize and add copyright info in one shot.

Faststone Image Resizer or Faststone Image Viewer, either one. Quick and easy and free. Never heard of Photopolish before.

Hi Paul, I'm not recommending, I'm researching. I'm hoping someone else can tell me if they had a good or bad experience with them. I'm not sure about the .co domain.

I wish I could create something that nice is LR and I don't use PS. So, for me it may be worth the money.

You might want to consider a site like https://www.freelogodesign.org/ - there are several sites that allow you to design your own logo, then download a PNG file which may be suitable for you to use with Lightroom to add as a graphic logo to your images.

I did a quick no frills logo on the site above, downloaded a free low rez web ready PNG, then added it as a graphic watermark in Lightroom within a couple of minutes. Many fonts, shapes and designs to choose from.

For your $40, you get a professionally done watermark, with your choice of styles (swirly or not so swirely). When I changed my domain name, Photologo modified it at no cost.

Thanks! I was't sure if they were legit or not and was hoping someone else used them. Also, I checked out your website; you have some incredible pictures on there...Thanks again...Dan

No, I would not purchase a watermark, but make my own! (I do that in PS)! I actually just use my avatar as my watermark!

LR does a great job most of the time with watermarks, either one you create in LR or one you create in PS and import. You simply need to buy the nicer looking fonts, then use both the watermark and the Identity Plate if working within LR and create a watermark. I've attached one created in PS and imported into LR.
