wireless remote for sony a series cameras

Does anyone have either an TWT282 or a MC-36R wireless remote for an Sony Alpha camera. Or any other one that will enable multiple shots, timed shots, etc.

Hey Don,
I have a radio type remote for my A300. It fits on the hot shoe and it has a wire and a 3 pin wire that plugs into the remote plug on the opposite side from where you would plug the wire for the link between your computer and camera. You can use it if you install the external flash as well but there is no place to mount it then. I bought mine at Amazon it was inexpensive and I do like it. So there are 2 pieces the transmitter with the shutter release that you carry and the receiver that stays with the camera. I can be a some distance and it will still fire. I hope this will help you.

I think Blake refers to the Vello Freewave wireless remote shutter release model RW-S1 from Amazon. I have one for my A300 and it works great. Works up to 300' from the camera. Around $39 if memory serves.

Sorry gang. I just dug mine out of the camera bag. It's a Opteka. As I think that I paid around $ 40.00 or so. I have really liked it and it too can transmit for some distance. I know that it is very reliable
