It's winter, Jan 11th, and there is a place in Gainesville, FL where you can take photos of butterfly's, koi, rushing stream and plants in a huge screened space. Flash OK, tripods not. I did have my monopod with me inside and it was not a problem.
It's open year round but right now in winter it's a unique place for photography.
There are also scientists working on scientist stuff and a lab where they hatch butterfly's and let them go in the atrium.
There is also a natural history museum.
All of this is visible for you as you tour. We were 2 feet (thru glass window) from scientist preparing butterfly for exhibit. There are literally thousands of butterfly's mounted and on exhibit.
Seniors are eleven bucks for the Butterfly Garden all day.
University Of Florida Natural History Museum. We toured the butterflys, went next door for a very good lunch and came back for another couple of hours.

I have been there and it is a wonderful place. The only problem (for me) is that it's too far for me to drive on a regular basis.

Sounds like a wonderful place to visit, and you certainly had a successful shoot.

Not a bad ride from here in Citrus County, just up FL41 to FL 121 and a couple blocks to the museum. No interstates when we can avoid it.
If you like bones here's another shot.
Nice set and thanks for the tip!
