I use NIK as a plug in in Photoshop CC and worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago, but now when I used it and click ok in NIK PS closes down and when I re-open the photo in PS none of the NIK layers are there. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times over several days. I am on a MacBook Pro running High Sierra. I did notice in my Applications I have both PS 2017 and PS 2018, could that be the problem?
Love NIK as a plug in.
Thanks - that seems to have fixed it for now!!!!
Yes, that was my problem also until I found this work around. I still don't like the work around, but since Nik is unsupported software we take chances with new Apple operating system updates of breaking the software,

On a positive note - Nik collection has been sold by Google to DxO and on their new Nik/DxO page there is mention of a new Nik collection.
They are going to incorporate Nik into the DXO software, however it is unclear if they will support or update the Nik collection as a plug-in to other packages (free or cost).
