As a former rider, both Harleys and Honda Goldwing, I can attest that there is always some element of falling over. So, some modicum of safety gear would be desirable. I don't think that flip-flops really fit that description. It makes me wonder as to the mental acuity of the sitting rider. Maybe she is a "seatwarmer" just waiting for the real rider to show up. One can only hope...

I suspect that her plan in case of a fall-over would be to get out of the way as quickly as possible.
