Beware of photography schools. John Free
Yes, video is very interesting.
I clicked on some of his videos ,he kind of reminds me of a rebel
in a good way. He is interesting .
I just saw your video . Thankyou you bring up a
very good point.
Great motivational speak ... but why the train in the background ??
Very good share, thank you
Thanks for the link. I like this guy. I worked for two different daily papers in northeast Arkansas and I saw in real life what he was talking about with instructors. In 6 1/2 years at one of those papers, we only had 1, yes, that is one, who graduated with a degree in photography and journalism who really knew what to do with a camera.
Sadly most of them wanted to set their cameras on auto and go out shooting in some of the most adverse circumstances that photographers encounter, and wonder why most of their work didn't meet muster.
DUMB.... Who likes to listen to the train ???

People who are from a railroad family and people who like the noise to drown out those inconsiderate people who label someone else dumb just because they happen to like something different.
I have colected Lionel, K-line MTH Wiliams ect. trains since 1950... I love trains however, to me the trains in the video are distracting and has nonthing to do with still photohraphy. Why didn't he practice what he preaches... He did not showany of his photos....WHY? TALK IS CHEAP....
I watched most of his videos and enjoyed them all. He talks about
appeals to me in photography and taking time to think before taking the shot.
