Great capture; really sharp even blown up. How far away were you and was the zoom fully extended? Did you auto or manual focus? I've always stuck with Nikon lenses but this certainly helps eliminate any doubts about a Tamron lens.

Distance approximately 30' and the lens was extended to 340mm. About half the image was cropped away.
I had the Nikon 80-400G a while back but I sold it because it wasn't being used. For me it was too heavy to carry. I think this Tamron is on par with that lens except for weight.
