Godox XPRO N (Nikon) Flash Trigger Transmitter

Can anyone familiar with this trigger explain what the "shoot" menu options "Single, Multiple and APP" do? The manual has no discussion, the web site just shows the manual and customer service is in China.

I am using it on my D850 with two Godox X1 receivers mounted with two SB800s. I could not get TTL to work in the single mode (factory default) but it does (close but not perfect exposure) in multiple. However, when I try to use the TCM feature to view the light power used in TTL the indicated power (1/4) is way to hot as the proper is more like 1/16 power. Manual seems to work fine.

Single is the normal mode of one transmitter and one or more receivers. Multiple is for multiple shooters -- as in mulitple people with cameras each with a XPro transmitter. In multiple mode a change made in one XPro transmitter is sent to not only the receivers, but also the other transmitters so that all the transmitters on in sync and on the same page. APP is for a smartphone app that can be used to make the settings.

Single mode should work. Perhaps check the firmware version? Multiple mode should be OK too but it uses more battery energy because it is sending extra information out assuming there are other transmitters listening. You may have to play with TCM more as it seems to only work for one type of flash at a time based on what you set in the C.Fn->TCM menu, and it may not even work with non Godox flashes like your SB800s. You best chance is the TT685/V860II series setting since they have similar output power.
