You think that posts on Ugly Hedgehog are major profit centers for American Journalism?

I wish....

News is a business, as you say, an important business necessary to the functioning of our democracy, and protected by our Constitution.

If it abuses the first amendment, there are legal remedies. I can’t say that never happens, but we have an important need for t***h to be presented to the nation, disciplined, if necessary, by said remedies.

If anything, it is Trump who is most guilty of abusing t***h with his thousands of lies, compulsive lies, listed, verified and answered lies.

Our democracy requires news, right or left, simple or controversial, hopefully supported by information and responsibility, nurtured by love, tested by h**e, seasoned by wit and anger, boring sometimes, exciting other times, but vital news, healthy and informed news, argued over, documented, secret news and public news, good news and bad, happy and sad, meaningful news and boring news.

We must have it.

We thrive on it.

Our democracy demands it.

Can’t do without it.

Profitable or free, good news or bad, reasonable, strange, unbelieveable.

So there you have it...what else is new?

2018 e******ns look disastrous for Republicans???? So did the 2016 e******ns for Rups and for Trump, none of that nonsense came to fruition. lol keep dreaming, it's all you have hope for.

Yes, your are correct. The people spoke. Vladimir Putin, too. Some of us learned an important lesson about v****g. Some of us learned an important lesson about the e*******l college.

All of us learned an important lesson about irresponsible v****g.

We are paying a great deal for having to learn those lessons.

We’ll have to learn and pay for another year, at least.

It is possible we may lose our nation learning those lessons; it is a close thing.

Our nation is in the hands of a Republican Marine Capitan who headed the FBI and is noted for his character, his steadfastness and his guts.

If he fails, our nation becomes something new, F*****t, and Authoritarian, run by a dictator, a country where government is weaponized against enemies of the boss, where Justice is weaponized against political rivals and enemies, and where lies become t***h, corruption becomes rife, and honor or decency becomes rare.

Well...we’ll have to wait to see.

Tom,
Just where and when did I say what you question? My post was short and concise, in no way did it insinuate what you are asking.
John.

This is what I meant to answer, perhaps not so short and concise as your post, but it follows, at least to me.

Did I misunderstand something, and get up on my soapbox all for nothing?

Let me climb down now.

Yes Tom,
It is a simple misunderstanding. You, I, and others are preaching what we learn from watching and reading spun News on our favorite biased journals. It has come to the point that I no longer links to the extreme right and left sites.

LOL, there are a few that survive and thrive on both sides while drowning in such authoritative sources!

This is not a man to be bullied or intimidated or sold short.

I don't disagree with any of that. I was just amused that the poster seemed to think he knows these laws better than Mueller. I suppose it is possible, but what are the odds>

If his predictions prove to be correct, will you change song? It's speculation as to what the future will bring, so he could be wrong. I'm curious why you don't think you could be.

I wondered why his favorables keep going down, and his unfavorables keep going up. I'm not sure you just explained it.

The charge will not be collusion but obstruction of justice.

Do you know how to read?

You don’t impeach a candidate. That’s silly.

You impeach a President, and a President only, and you can impeach him for anything...it’s a political move, not a legal move.

He ain’t got the v**es, you can impeach him.

And maybe some funny stuff with money-laundering.

I would like to see it quit being entertainment. It won't, but I'd sure like to see it.

But, you are talking about extreme left and right from your perspective. Your middle likely won't be my middle, or Tom's middle, or checkers middle.

I am trying to understand that humbug Tom, everyone you mentioned is nowhere near the middle.
