Continuing to work on BIF with new camera and lens. These were from about 130 yards away.

Good set...can I ask what equipment you are using for your BIF pics?

I am using a Canon 7D II with a Canon 100-400 II. The camera is much more complex than my previous one (Canon T3) so it has been a relatively slow learning curve, but I am making headway and feel that I have set it up much better. I particularly like the three customizable settings - just turn the dial to that setting and the camera reverts to whatever setup you assigned to it. I have one setting for birds on the ground/water, one for looking up into a tree with a bright sky background, and one for BIF. Still playing with them a little, but getting there.

In the third shot it looks like the sharpest focus is on the wings with the head and eyes a little softer. Still a very nice shot and series.
