Still good ... not great, but still good.
I've been at Bosque since 1999 and seen good years, great years and some not so good. The warm weather kept the birds from coming in from Colorado until later than normal. The feed (corn) Has been good this year. The birds have found ponds to roost that are not accessible but all in all I'd give the refuge a b+ rating. Bernardo's Ladd S. Gordon State refuge is also doing well as usual. I'd give Bernardo an A- rating. All in all, I'm a happy camper with places to go and bird images to capture.
