If you go after the employers, you would not need a wall.
If you cut out the handouts, you would not need a wall.
Something has to be done, what's your solution?

18 billion is for just a portion. Mexico must be going to pay the bigger half.

After the $18 billion, maintenance of "The Wall" will begin--for as long as it stands.
No, we don't need it. It is a ridiculous waste of money-even if Mexico pays, which they won't.
That was another Trump lie, that the gullible believed.

When has a government project come in on budget?

If this foolish wall is built; it is going to cost U.S. taxpayers much more than $18,000,000,000.00

If it wouldn't disrupt the range/territory of jaguars, I would be all on board with it. However, it would, so I think there must be a better solution. BUT, If that is the only way to keep out i*****l i*******ts then so be it.....nothing else seems to be working.

The wall will have to be 6 - 7 miles high since most of the i******s fly in.

You have to be high to consider it a viable plan.

"Should he get funding from Congress to build such a wall, Trump will be faced by an even bigger problem -- the geographical reality of the border itself. Any wall will have to navigate floodplains, international treaties and the rights of landowners who refuse to sell their land. Simply put, Trump does not understand the dynamics of the US-Mexico border.

But more importantly, the wall will be a gift to the drug cartels. In interviews with a New York Times contributing writer, drug dealers and human traffickers have preemptively thanked Trump for his border wall. Smugglers see the wall as a quaint distraction, because it has little practical application in a world where they harness the latest technology to move drugs and people into the US. If anything, they believe the wall will increase their profits, strengthening criminal networks.
And they might not be far off. According to a 2015 report by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, 95% of drugs coming into the US were entering via container ships and other vessels."

It is much easier for the Trump cultists to chant 'BUILD THE WALL'; than try to think about the real problem.

Little problem with that. Trump is the employer.
