Hi everyone
This has been brought up before but I need a little guidance on PScc. New computer and downloaded creative cloud from adobe. Having trouble loading photos in PScc. Can post to LRcc with no problem and then move them to PScc but can’t load straight to PScc using DNG or add or copy or move. What am I doing wrong. Computer is HP envy x360 with 16 gb of ram, 8 Gb graphic card and 1tb of hard drive if that helps to know equipment. Thanks for the help and sorry to bring this up again. Just need some help.

The short answer is leave LR closed. Open PS. Go to File|Open and navigate to the file you want to edit in PS and double-click it. You should now have that image open in PS ready to edit. There's another answer if the file you want to edit is cataloged in LR.

LR is the repository in which you manage your images. PS is an editor that can be used to edit your images cataloged in LR.

Am I making any sense? My best recommendation is to spend a little more money and get a good reference book on the Creative Cloud apps. They are not simple applications and if you're doing it right, you'll always need some guidance in what you want to do. I made the point with another user the other day, but learning PS is not a destination. It's a journey.

Lightroom PS CC is the mobile cloud Lightroom version. You have a desktop and should be using Lightroom Classic CC. This may or may be your immediate problem, just a suggestion for you.
