Thanks. As an update my local camera shop couldn't come close to a reasonable trade in price; barely enough to cover the tax on a new Fuji. I'd rather not go with EBay as I didn't want the fees and not sure I trust the ship and pay process.
Interestingly Amazon pretty much beat every other trade in, guaranteed a base price based on how the camera operates, all the accessories with it, etc. so it's on it's way for their trade in company to review. They pay for shipping both ways should they decide it's not what I represented and they will ship it back. Therefore it's on its way to Amazon and we'll see. Leave it to Amazon.
