Each picture was stunning. I particularly liked #1.
Excellent series of images Puglover. With a little imagination, I could almost envision that place as something from another planet. Perhaps you have already noticed, but when I downloaded #3 I noticed what appears to be another photographer on the other side of the water looking back at you.
Excellent set and it's nice to see you back.
When it's very cold, and at this very high altitude, people with heart problem should be very careful. A friend of mine passed away in this area several years ago. When he died, bubbles and fluid kept spilled out from his mouth. Medic could not help and the police came back the next day - we camped overnight near this lake - telling us the reason of this man's death was caused by air bubbles in his blood. He had heart problem, his doctor recommended he should not go camping with his family. Not many people are aware of this issue until too late. Your pictures are beautiful, if you took them in sunset (or sunrise) time, the color will be much better and if the sky is clear, then it will be gorgeous. I've seen many photographers come early or stay late with their set up, just tried to get their best shots. Thank you for sharing.
Very nice set of images...it's nice to hear your daughter is getting better.
Like many other easterners, I am intrigued by the Tufas at Mono. Seeing them in "stereo" was a real treat. Thanks for sharing.
You got some really good reflections there.
