Focused on what? Most everything on this forum is about photography, there is a category about almost everything. What would you like to add, a category about what people are doing with photography?

This is where we talk about anything related to photography. You are in General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk).
You need help in navigating UHH. Go to the bottom of the page and click All Sections. A page will open with ALL the sections in UHH. Subscribe to the ones you want. Also when you login to UHH and click on the Newest Topics each post shows which section it is in. Stay out of the sections not for you and you will be fine.

If its posted to general chitchat, what difference does it make if it's about photography or ant farming?! That's why it's general chitchat. If you want strictly photography based conversations, don't be reading general chitchat...!

Easy solution. If you skip the general chit chat and the attic, I think you’ll find that the plethora of other forums are completely dedicated to photography

Just subscribe to the sections you want to see in your personal settings (ie: remove general chit chat). When I look at newest topics, I don’t see posts to the attic because I choose not to subscribe to that section

It takes awhile to understand all the nuances of navigating UHH but as you use it more you will learn. Good shooting to you.

Exactly. Sometimes, when I'm reading my daily digest, especially on a good day when lots of the images appeal to me, I'm all snapped out! General Chit Chat provides a nice break before I look at the more specialised forums.
