I like to enter my photos on this web site. If you enter any photo comps let me know so I can vote for you (voting allowed on free comp's only).

I'm sorry, but No, thanks.
I frequently see requests for votes, where is the merit in that?
I will vote for a photo that is good enough to get my vote, but I will not vote for the photographer.
I think that's the reason that in serious competitions the maker-information is kept a secret till after the voting.
Just my two bits worth...

Its unfortunate you did not actually visit the site. 99% of the competitions are based on merit and NOT votes.

I actually did visit the site.
And it is great that there are judges who evaluate most of the images.
The point I was making is, that I do not want to vote for a photographer but for an image, whether the group of images it belongs to is only 1% of all images on a website, or 100% of all images on a website.
It is the blatant asking of "Vote for me (or my image)" that I object to (or in this case, your offerening to vote for my images - without even having seen them).

I consider the good folks here at UHH friends. My intent was to share another outlet to exhibit photographic talents. I did not intend to debate the personal values of “To Vote” or “Not to Vote”.
If a member decided to upload a photo on the 1 competition that allows voting, it would be nice to know providing the opportunity to decide of voting or not. Sometimes it is more important to edify than tear down.

I have that one saved in my shortcuts. So hard to find the time to get the shots, though.

I've entered a few contests and have never even placed in the top 1,000,000,000,000,000.
