My husband took a photo of me taking a photo. I wanted to make it look a bit edgy. Any suggestions on how to improve it? Thank you in advance for your advice.

I like it as it is.
Thanks Angler. It is so much easier to edit photos of other people than of myself. "I am the picture taker".....LOL

Stop with the color selection, honestly it does give it a "edgy" look but more of a dated look (late 80's). Also your eye is over cooked, I'm going to guess your eye isn't really that blue.
I would keep it black and white with a high contrast if you want edgy.

LOL, My eyes are pretty blue, but not that quite! Believe it or not, my eye is not so crooked, I have very almond shaped eyes. :) I will experiment with High Contrast B/W. Thanks!
Fun picture. Enjoyed viewing.

Thanks...how are you holding up with the heat up there?
It looks pretty good...it does look edgy but I have to agree with MWAC...selective coloring is out... :)
Well, being 70, I actually like some of the photos with selective color. I remember one of the train track signals that received rave reviews and others. Done tastefully they are very nice.
Your photo is special and I like the eye selective color which draws the viewers eye to yours.

would not change a thing. love selective color, dont care if it is in fashion or not, really love the vubrant blue color, and since you are holding a Nikon, you are clearly a highly intelligent and stylish woman!!!!!!
I like it. In photography does anything really go out of style? If it works, it works.
did a few things if you don't mind?
like it, by the way!!

I do like it, but I'm confused. Is it a picture of you or your camera?
If it's a photo of you, then I would slightly blur the camera; if the camera, then blur you!
At the moment it makes quite a good advert for Nikon!
